ABOUT US

SK "Aktiv 2013" was founded in 2013 and in just six years has established itself as one of the leading athletics clubs in Bulgaria.
In 2019, the club ranked first in the country in terms of gold medals won, ahead of clubs with a long history such as Levski, CSKA, Lokomotiv Pld. and Trakia Pld.

Despite limited resources, with exceptional personal efforts, the club manages to retain elite national competitors, considered the most talented in middle, long and trail running in Bulgaria over the last 20 years.

Silviya Georgieva
• 19 times champion of Bulgaria
• 10 medals from Balkan Championships (3 gold, 4 silver, 3 bronze)
• Participant in European and World Championships
• National records: 2000 m steeplechase (U18), 3000 m steeplechase (U18, U20)

Lilyana Georgieva
• 52 times national champion, 15 times Balkan champion
• Runner-up at the U20 European Championships – 1500 m
• Second place at the European Olympic Festival U18 – 800 m
• 15 national records (800m, 1500m, 3000m, 5000m, one mile)
• Participant in European, world and team championships.

• Dimitar Marinov – state champion in 35 km race walking
Two-time silver medalist in trail running at the National Championships
120th place out of 2500 participants in the most prestigious ultra trail race (UTMB)
• Tencho Zhekov – world trail running champion, multiple national champion
• Tanya Dimitrova – World and European marathon champion and multiple medalist from the National Championships
• Emil Mishev – Bronze medalist of the National School of Sports Walking 35 km Kom Emine 580km in 9 days. Participant and successful finisher in (UTMB)
• Dimitar Hubchev and Vladimir Balabanov – young hopes in mountain running.
